I create pictures that are, on the surface, attractive and pleasing but conceal a duplicitous  tension.

 

When I travel between two destinations,  I take note of areas of unease or imagined danger. That give rise to those paranoid feelings of fear that we all experience and usually so close to home. Your mind starts to imagine figures lurking in the shadows. Are they benevolent.

 

 

 It's the fear of the unpredictable occurrence when we are caught between our safe havens.
